an ArtsUnion Event presented by The Somerville Arts Council and Boston Handmade
~ Was held Saturday, July 30th ~ 3-7pm in Union Square, Somerville, MA ~

Our July 2011 outdoor marketplace featured work by New England artists, craftspeople and artisans
associated with the non-profit arts group Boston Handmade.
 
Boston Handmade promotes local independent businesses and individuals creating one-of-a-kind
and limited edition handmade works in small studio environments, not factories.
 
At the 2011 Marketplace more than 25 exhibitors were showing and selling handmade jewelry,
clothing, accessories, housewares, art, photography, paper goods, ceramics and more along with
hands-on craft demonstratons from independent artists and craftspeople
along with the The Common Cod Fiber Guild and the Stitch House of Dorchester
